When an established UK retailer of marine equipment and supplies wanted to migrate to the Magento ecommerce platform, Peacock Carter were happy to help, with years of experience migrating data between ecommerce and content management platforms.
Migration to Magento on this scale can be a difficult process, with larger scale migrations requiring much checking to ensure the migrated product information is maintained in a sensible format. With Peacock Carter, we were able to ensure that the migration succeeded.
How we migrated this UK retailer to Magento
As with many online retailers, the client was keen to reduce downtime and needed a smooth transition from their old ecommerce system to their new Magento website. The client had a product catalogue of around 10,000 products, each of which included imagery, descriptions and specifications.

Once the website was launched, we provide ongoing Magento support to the client, working with us to improve their website over time, to stay ahead of their competitors.
